In response to international tax governance trends, and to ensure full compliance with relevant laws and the fulfillment of tax obligations, the Company has established a Tax Policy as the basis for its tax governance. This policy guides the Company in bearing a reasonable tax burden in its key operating countries and in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

  1. The Company’s tax information is based on the tax requirements of different jurisdictions and includes business tax, income tax, and other related taxes.
  2. In accordance with Taiwan’s transfer pricing regulations and the OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Action 13 requirements, the Company has completed the filing of the Country-by-Country Report for fiscal year 2023. Furthermore, in 2025, the Company will carry out the notification procedures and Country-by-Country Report filing for fiscal year 2024 under the Global Minimum Tax regime in line with BEPS Pillar II regulations in each jurisdiction.
  3. Other taxes include regional levies and additional surcharges.
  4. The income tax expense and effective tax rate for fiscal year 2024 are calculated in accordance with local tax laws and take into account applicable tax incentives.
